A Real Pixel Fold Seems to Have Been Found for The First Time.

You’ve seen pictures and maybe even a plastic model of Google’s first folding phone, but what does it look like in real life? Behold the Pixel Fold, unless someone is trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

It’s true that there’s not much in this video that makes it clear that this is the Google foldable.

There are no logos or unique design features like a big camera bar. Instead, there’s just a front-facing selfie camera, internal bezels, and a folding screen with rounded sides. It looks like it could be a prototype from either Google or Samsung.

Except that it comes from the developer and trusted leaker Kuba Wojciechowski, who has been keeping an eye on this device for months. He says it’s the Pixel Fold, and the only other thing he can say for sure is that this video is more than a month old.

The Pixel Fold will be announced at Google I/O on May 10, ship in June, and cost more than $1,700. It will be a 5.8-inch phone that folds out into a 7.6-inch tablet.

It will have a Google Tensor G2 processor, a 10oz weight, a battery that Google plans to market as lasting 24 hours on a charge, and “the most durable hinge on a foldable.”

Today, before Google’s show, a Pixel Tablet was also seen in the real world. Last month, the Pixel 7A was shown off in the real world.
