At CES 2023 yesterday, Acer presented a vast array of machines across numerous lines. There were lots of laptops available, suitable for a wide range of users and sporting various styles. All of these had something in common that actually seemed to be strangely absent from the event. Following that variety show, Acer is releasing three new laptops to fill in the gaps and introduce AMD’s most recent Ryzen CPUs to its customer base, providing casual gamers, students, and employees on the go another alternative to suit their computing needs.

With its 13th-generation Core processors powering the new laptops and desktops, Intel has dominated the CES 2023 floor. Of course, AMD is not to be outdone as there are other options available. The new AMD Ryzen 7000 series, which leverages the new Zen 4 CPU architecture, offers better performance and efficiency to meet the demands of both gamers and content creators. And now, this silicon is making its way into Acer’s newest laptops as well, aiming to appeal to the same diverse group of users who require a competitive computer they can bring with them wherever they go.

The Acer Nitro 16 is a powerful laptop that mixes the newest Ryzen 7000 series processors with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 laptop graphics to easily handle most games and creative software like Blender and Photoshop. Owners may seamlessly switch between integrated graphics and discrete graphics with support for NVIDIA Advanced Optimus without having to reboot and disrupt their productivity. The Nitro 16 shares a 4-zone RGB Backlit keyboard with its larger sibling, which adds some style to your gaming or even just your typing.

The Acer Nitro 17 offers gamers a choice of 17.3-inch displays ranging from FHD with 144Hz or 165Hz refresh rates to higher-res QHD with 165Hz speeds, bringing that same deadly combination to a bigger but still slender laptop. Because of its wider body, it can accommodate a huge touchpad that makes it simpler to hit objects when a mouse is not being used. The Acer Nitro 16 and Nitro 17 both support up to 2TB of M.2 PCIe Gen 4 storage and up to 32GB of quick DDR5 5600 MHz memory. These laptops have the newest cooling technology from Acer, including four strategically positioned fan outlets and liquid metal thermal grease, which makes sense given all the activity going on inside.

Acer is aware that not everyone enjoys playing video games, and it caters to this market as well. Mobile workers, students, and pretty much everyone else will have access to the same AMD Ryzen 7000 power in a thin, light, and extremely fashionable laptop thanks to the Acer Swift Go 14. The device’s sharp edges and structural lines successfully express the idea of speed, and its brilliant colours give it a young, energetic personality. The majority of programmes will be compatible with the 14-inch 2.8K 90Hz screen, and the 9.5-hour all-day battery can accommodate the needs of today’s increasingly mobile employees.
