The Release Date for Disney’s Dreamlight Valley
In 2023, the full game will be offered as a free-to-play product. However, those who want to play the game first will be able to do so this summer as part of the early access program, which will be available with the purchase of a Founders pack or by becoming an Xbox Game Pass subscriber. Players will be able to carry over their early access awards into the main game once it is fully released.

Disney Dreamlight Valley will be available for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and it will be completely compatible with controllers, keyboards, and mice on PC and Mac. The game will also include an offline option, and you will just need internet access to download Disney Dreamlight Valley, activate your game, and update it.

The game revolves around you as a newcomer to Dreamlight Valley who is entrusted with clearing the thorns and assisting your fellow Disney characters in restoring their memories after an event known as the Forgetting occurs.

You’ll also get to interact with Disney characters including Buzz Lightyear, Moana, Sulley, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Simba, Anna, Elsa, and Belle, as well as do a variety of things with them in the game. For example, you can go fishing with Goofy, cook with Remy from Ratatouille, and assist Walle with his garden, among other things.
Story of Disney’s Dreamlight Valley
Dreamlight Valley was formerly a beautiful location where Disney and Pixar characters coexisted together, until a catastrophe known as the Forgetting occurred. The Dream Castle became a haven for Night Thorns as they spread across the area.
Before venturing off across numerous realms, players must first liberate the Dream Castle of the Forgetting’s power and restore magic to the valley. As you get to know the game’s ensemble of characters, you’ll discover “a plethora of unique individualized tale arcs.”

How Much Does Disney Dreamlight Valley Cost and Where Can I Buy It?
PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch will all be able to play Disney Dreamlight Valley. You may either buy a Founder’s Pack – the price of which we don’t yet know – or subscribe to Xbox Game Pass to play during the game’s early access phase.
When the full version of the game is released, it will be completely free to play. This means there will be no admission fee, but there will be “purchasable expansion options to enhance your experience.”
