3) Nine Sols

She Dreams Elsewhere is one of the few upcoming independent role-playing video games for which the soundtrack has garnered more attention than the gameplay. Studio Zevere is currently working on the game.

She Dreams Elsewhere’s aesthetic is influenced by classic RPGs and has been compared to Undertale’s. The player assumes the role of Thalia, a worried lady who embarks on a mission to fight the dreams keeping her from waking up.

5) Sea of Stars

 

Sea of Stars is a planned independent turn-based RPG that is the precursor to Sabotage Studios’ The Messenger. The game tells the narrative of two children of Solstice who are capable of performing Eclipse Magic by merging the sun and moon’s abilities.

Sea of Stars lets players to explore the globe and immerse themselves in an adventure-rich plot. There are currently only three playable characters, with more in development.

In 2023, Sea of Stars will be available on Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and macOS.
