Hannah Brown contacted Cam Ayala following his leg amputation surgery last month, the actor said.
Ayala, who participated in Brown’s season of The Bachelorette, claimed that while the reality star messaged him on Instagram, none of his fellow competitors have responded.
In response to a comment made by Bachelor fan thatbachlexx, he stated, “For the record, Hannah Brown did just reach out to me via DM last night and sent a long and nice message. Regarding the other men in my season,
The Bachelor in Paradise alum also talked about his experience on the reality program when it was shown that he stole Hannah during sensitive and serious chats with other men and crashed a group date he wasn’t invited to.
He said, “It was a tragic event that generated PTSD, which I’ve lived with for the past three years.” “However, this path has brought me closer to God and helped me to take stock of the vital things in my life. I’m no longer angry or bitter.”
Cam Ayala provided followers with an update while he recovered from limb amputation surgery last month.
Ayala uploaded several images and videos to Instagram shortly after having the majority of his right leg amputated.
Ayala was seen using a walker with the assistance of his doctors in one video from Texas Medical Center. The friend who was recording him said, “Great job, man,” as he entered the room again.
“Gotta lotta BROMENTUM with @b.rapp,” wrote 33-year-old Ayala as the caption for the photo. He identified himself as a “CAMputee” and used several hashtags, such as “FAITHoverFEAR.”
Ayala endured the amputation as a further step in his lifelong battle with lymphedema, a condition that results in the accumulation of fluid in soft tissues and enlarges the arms and legs. Lymphedema is a chronic illness that has no known treatment.
The condition, which primarily impacted the former reality star’s right leg, was inherited. He has been prepared for this “transformative” amputation for a while, having had 16 knee surgeries in the preceding seven years.
