Get Your First Look At Tim Burton’s Netflix Series, Wednesday

It’s obvious, it’s obvious, it’s obvious. The Addams Family theme song is one we’ll never forget and one we’ll always associate with the show. On Wednesday, we’ll get to watch the rest of the plot in Tim Burton’s Netflix series.

Scream 4’s Jenna Ortega reprises her role as Wednesday in this new take on the classic franchise that spawned numerous films, cartoons, and other media. With her trademark style of tight braids on either side of her face as she played this character in the ’90s films, Christina Ricci became a cultural icon.

At the first glance at Ortega in her Wednesday black outfit, I have to tell that she looks fantastic in the part.

This week’s Netflix teaser trailer has arrived!

After Ortega straightens her braids and fixes that color, she gives the camera that notorious deep stare that we’ve all come to know and love.

The fact that Ortega is still a teenager tells me she must have put in a lot of effort to prepare for this role. She’s got it all down to a science, and seeing her in action has me pumped up about the show, which has yet to air.

According to reports, Luis Guzmán and Catherine Zeta-Jones will star as Wednesday’s parents in the upcoming horror film Morticia and Gomez Addams. Even Ricci, whose character is still a mystery, is returning.

Specifics of the Process

Tim Burton’s unannounced The Addams Family project, Wednesday, was first reported in October 2020. In February 2021, Netflix officially ordered an eight-episode series when the showrunners and executive producers joined the project’s team. In September of that year, filming began in Bucharest, Romania, for the film. A completion date of February 2022 has been set.

There isn’t much information available concerning the plot of Wednesday on Netflix. Following Wednesday through her time at Nevermore Academy, the show has been described as a “coming-of-age comedy” with a “eerie, otherworldly mystery” by Deadline.

Tuesday must learn to control her growing psychic gift while avoiding a terrible killing spree terrorising the community and solving the mystical mystery that has been plaguing her family for 25 years, according to the official longline issued by Netflix.
