Netflix has recently commissioned a new original series called Glamorous, and we can’t wait to tell you all you need to know about it!
The CW originally ordered Glamorous to pilot in February 2019. The CW, on the other hand, decided to cancel the series in June 2019. The programme has found a new home with our favourite streamer over three years later. Netflix ordered a ten-episode series on April 11.
Fortunately, the series’ creative crew stays unchanged. Jordon Nardino is the show’s writer and executive producer. Two Shakes Entertainment’s Damon Wayans Jr. and Kamerlow Tarlow will serve as executive producers, and CBS Studios will produce.
When it was a CW production, Eva Longoria was supposed to direct, but it’s uncertain if she will now that it’s a Netflix project.
You’ll find all you need to know about Glamorous in the sections below.
Who has been cast in the film Glamorous?
Ben J. Pierce aka Miss Benny, an actor, singer, and Youtuber, has been cast as Marco Mejia in Netflix’s Glamorous. Pierce will resume their role as the lead in the CW pilot that was cancelled. Fuller House, Guidance, Love, Victor, and others are among Benny’s other acting credits.
At this time, no further cast members are known. It’s also unknown whether any of the cast members from the CW pilot that was cancelled would be invited to reprise their roles. Peyton List of Cobra Kai, John Barrowman, Pierson Fode, and others might be among them.

Synopsis for The Film Glamorous
Glamorous is a Netflix original film about Marco Mejia, a gender-nonconforming gay young man whose life appears to be caught in a rut until he obtains a job working for famed beauty mogul Madolyn Addison.
It’s Marco’s first opportunity to figure out what he wants to do with his life, who he is, and what it means to be queer.
The following is a complete overview of the new series:
Marco Mejia (Benny), a gender-nonconforming high school graduate, wins the internship of a lifetime interning for a cosmetics firm whose products he trashed on YouTube.
Former supermodel Madolyn Addison, CEO, entrepreneur, and creator of Glamorous Cosmetics, developed one of the world’s top cosmetic enterprises from the ground up.
However, something has recently occurred. The business isn’t simply sliding; it’s collapsing – as if it’s being sabotaged from inside. Madolyn isn’t going to let that happen, so she recruits Marco as her summer intern fresh out of high school.
She has a plan: she wants him to be her eyes and ears, to become friends with her, and to figure out what’s going on behind her back, to figure out “what they’re hiding and what they’re taking.” She’ll teach Marco all she knows in exchange, but she cautions him: “This profession, like life, isn’t all glitter and splendour.”

Predictions for A Glamorous Release Date
Because production on Glamorous has yet to begin, it’s difficult to say when it will be available on Netflix. For the time being, our best guess is that the film will be released in 2023. There’s a chance the programme may be available on Netflix by the end of 2022, but I wouldn’t put my money on it right now.
We’ll keep you updated on anything Glamorous, and we’ll keep this area updated when additional information becomes available.
