The first two seasons of Harley Quinn were faultless, to the point where fans become excited anytime new information about the program is released. There has been a lot to look forward to in the last few months.
First, it was revealed that Kite Man would be getting his own spinoff, which will be situated in a supervillain bar and will be similar to Cheers. Following that, Harvey Guillen was cast in the role of Dick Grayson, a.k.a. Nightwing, in Harley Quinn season 3. Season 3 is expected to premiere sooner rather than later.
Harley Quinn Season 3 is one of the most eagerly awaited series of 2022. Fans have been waiting for any news on when it would be released with bated breath. We might have it now.
When will the third season of Harley Quinn be released?
Patrick Schumacker, the showrunner and executive producer of HBO Max’s animated Harley Quinn series, took to Twitter to indicate when the show would be released for public viewing.
Patrick Schumacker remarked in a Tweet that “he’s not permitted to reveal” when the season will premiere, but he did indicate that it will be “around the time of year that rhymes with “Schummer,” confirming that Harley Quinn Season 3 will premiere on HBO Max in August 2022:
What Is the Harley Quinn Season 3 Cast and Who Are the Characters?
Season 3 showrunners Schumacker and Halpern have both hinted that fans should expect to see more renowned DC characters and villains. Nightwing, John Constantine, Mad Hatter, Clock King, and Amanda Waller have all confirmed appearances so far.
Once again, we’ve been given only a few hints as to who will play these characters.
We do know that Harvey Guillén from What We Do in the Shadows has been cast as Nightwing, but the rest of the cast remains a mystery.
Given the show’s amazing list of guest actors, which includes Frankie Muniz (Malcolm in the Middle), the late Jessica Walters (Archer), and Jameela Jamil (The Good Place), whoever the show’s creators choose will undoubtedly surprise and excite fans.
Kaley Cuoco (The Flight Attendant) as Harley, Lake Bell (Marvel’s What If?) as Poison Ivy, Alan Tudyk (Resident Alien) as Clayface (among others), Ron Funches (Bob’s Burgers) as King Shark, and Tony Hale (Arrested Development) as Dr. Psycho are all returning for Season 3.
Kite Man is played by Matt Oberg (Superstore), Sy Borgmen is played by Jason Alexander (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Batman/Bruce Wayne is played by Diedrich Bader (Space Force), and Commissioner Gordon is played by Christopher Meloni (Happy).
What Can We Expect From Season 3 of Harley Quinn?
Season 3 will pick up where the Eat, Bang, Kill Tour comic series leaves off. Harley and Ivy are seen fleeing Commissioner Gordon’s grasp at the end of the final issue, speeding towards Central City (the hometown of Barry Allen aka The Flash).
Season 3 will go deeper into Pamela Isley aka Poison Ivy’s past, as well as her new romantic involvement with Harley Quinn, according to showrunners Schumacker and Halpern.
Halpern explained that Harley’s past could alter the dynamic between herself and Ivy in a 2020 interview with Deadline, presenting the following questions:
More of Christopher Meloni’s dysfunctional police commissioner Gordon and his drive to re-establish both the GCPD’s and his own reputations should be expected, as well as a stand-alone Joker episode in the manner of Season 2’s stand-alone Batman episode.
What is the best way to watch Harley Quinn Season 3?
After migrating from the DC Universe app, Harley Quinn Season 3 will only be available on HBO Max in the United States and countries that use the streaming service. Outside of the United States, the show is available in different places depending on the country; for example, in the United Kingdom, the show is aired on the free digital channel E4.
