The Joker was once the most well-known of Batman’s rogues gallery, and he still holds that title today. While this may still be the case, it appears that Harley Quinn’s popularity has grown to rival and occasionally even surpass that of The Clown Prince of Crime himself in recent years. According to many, Margot Robbie’s portrayal of the character is to blame.

Margot’s performance in Suicide Squad, despite the film’s lack of critical acclaim, was memorable. Since then, she’s been in Birds of Prey and James Gunn’s reboot of The Suicide Squad, and there will no doubt be many more.

In addition to her live-action role, the character is also the star of a popular HBO Max animated adult comedy based on her name. With Kaley Cuoco taking on the role of Harley Quinn, this time around the tale follows the character as she attempts to navigate the world of supervillains without the help of her abusive ex-husband, Mr. J.

Two seasons of the show have been a big hit with viewers. The last fresh episodes of this show were released about two years ago, and it is a sad fact. So when can we expect to see more of Quinn’s animated shenanigans on the big screen?

Harley Quinn Season 3 Release DateWhen will it Air?

Nobody knows for sure. Even the show’s creators haven’t announced a release date for the third season of Harley Quinn. “I think it’ll probably come out at the very end of this year or the beginning of next, just because animation takes so long,” showrunner Justin Halpern said on the Masters of None podcast. As a result, despite Halpern’s expectations, the show will air in 2022 rather than 2021.

Season 3 of Harley Quinn will premiere on HBO Max “sometime in 2022,” the eponymous animated heroine mentioned in passing during a teaser clip seen at DC FanDome 2021. We have high hopes for the upcoming episode of the animated series based on Halpern’s prior words, but nothing is official just yet.

Regardless, we know that the next chapter of Harley’s animated escapades will be out soon enough. In 2020, HBO Max uploaded a photo announcing that the third season of Harley Quinn would be coming soon.

In addition, showrunner Patrick Schumacker has announced that the season 3 audio mix is now complete, indicating that production on the show is nearing its conclusion!

As a result, we should expect to witness more clown-related violence in the near future. As soon as we learn more, we’ll be sure to let you know. Seasons 1 and 2 are available on Prime Video while you wait.

Harley Quinn Season 3 Cast – Who will be in it?

This show’s rogue’s gallery of villains and heroes is the most extensive in television history, and often times that’s the goal. Besides voicing Clayface and the Joker, Alan Tudyk has also voiced Calendar Man, Doctor Trap, and Condiment King in the past.

For Harley Quinn season 3, we’ve put together a gallery of those who are likely to return, but there are also a few surprises. The show’s writer/producer, Patrick Schumacker, revealed on Twitter that Veep’s Sam Richardson will be joining the cast. He neglected to mention who Richardson will play in the film.

Other than that, who might be heard? Nathan Fielder, John Wilson, and Joe Pera are a few of Halpern’s top choices for a villain trio. Basically, “villains who sound like elderly men.” He then went on to reveal that The Mad Hatter will appear in season 3 of Harley Quinn.

Kite Man, according to Halpern and Schumacker, will not pose a threat to Ivy and Quinn’s relationship. That interview also reveals that Bane will never be killed off in Gotham. “We’ll kill practically any character that is not Harley or Ivy, but we’ll never kill Bane,” Halpern said.

Harley Quinn Season 3 Plot: What Can We Expect?

Season 3 of Eat, Bang, Kill Tour will take up where the comic series left off. Harley and Ivy can be seen escape Commissioner Gordon’s hands at the end of the final issue and making their way into Central City (the hometown of Barry Allen aka The Flash).

The show’s creators, Schumacker and Halpern, have stated that Season 3 will focus on Pamela Isley as Poison Ivy’s backstory, as well as her new romantic relationship with Harley Quinn. The following are some of the questions Halpern posed to Deadline in 2020 about how Harley’s past could effect her relationship with Ivy:

It’s hard to be in a decent relationship if you’ve been in a lot of bad ones your whole life.” What impact do your past relationships have on the one you’re in now, the one you want to work?

If you’re a fan of the show, you can expect more of Christopher Meloni’s dysfunctional police commissioner Gordon and his efforts to re-establish both the GCPD and his own reputations, as well as a standalone Joker episode.

Is There any Trailer for Harley Quinn Season 3?

No trailers have appeared online so far, much to the disappointment of fans, as has been stated above However, in October 2021, HBO released a “first peek” of Season 3. The DC Fandom Event last year featured the publication of a 2:53 minute teaser with a partially animated storyboard, as reported by Collider.

Harley and Ivy, now a couple, are spreading mayhem, billing their antics as the “Eat, Bang, Kill Tour,” which is what they’ve been dubbed. It began publishing in August of last year, with six issues of a spin-off, limited comic book series based on the same name.

In between Seasons 2 and 3, the Eat, Bang, Kill Tour comics follow Harley and Ivy on their cross-country road trip as they are chased by GCPD’s Commissioner Gordon, who has left Kite Man at the altar.

When asked about the long wait, Harley Quinn breaks the fourth wall and says that the season hasn’t been finished yet since “animation takes forever!” The DC Fandom teaser does express a genuine apology to all of the fans who have been waiting.

How can I watch Harley Quinn Season 3?

After being removed from the DC Universe app, the third season of Harley Quinn will only be available on HBO Max in the United States and other countries that use that streaming service. It is available in various parts of countries outside of the US, depending on the country — for example, in the UK, on the free digital channel E4.

The trailer was only able to give a small taste of what to expect from the upcoming season. Kaley Cuoco and Lake Bell’s Poison Ivy (Kaley Cuoco) proclaimed their love for one another at the end of Season 2, and in a prequel comic, it appears that they went on a honeymoon tour together. Commissioner Gordon, Bane, Kite Man, and the Joker are among the returning characters.

Additionally, Amanda Waller, Swamp Thing, the Court of Owls, and Frank the talking plant were all hinted at in the teaser. Hopefully, all will be revealed in the following few months when a new trailer is released with the release date.
