Hightown is a standard American crime drama with a unique twist. Rebecca Cutter, Gary Lennon, Jerry Bruckheimer (Top Gun Maverick), and Johnathan Littman are the creators and producers of the show. Starz TV’s inaugural season was a huge hit, with the show breaking viewership records across many digital platforms.
The series revolves around the drug war, drug use, and addiction, all of which are intermingled with a murder mystery. The first and second seasons do an excellent job of introducing the narrative story, and viewers can’t help but wonder if a third season will be produced.
When will the third season of Hightown be released?
Fans of Starz’s criminal drama Hightown, which debuted on May 17 this year, can rest certain that Jackie’s narrative will continue. Starz had ordered a second season of the show for June 2020, even before the first season’s conclusion aired on July 12.
On October 17, 2021, a popular crime drama’s second season premiered. The first episode will air at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Sunday, with subsequent episodes airing at the same time every week. Season 2 will have ten episodes in total, two more than the first season, according to the announcement.
However, no date has been set for the third season of Hulu’s Hightown. Hightown’s third season is still waiting for a renewal announcement. Hightown fans should expect a release in Early 2023.
As STARZ has renewed season three of its crime drama “Hightown,” Wilmington will be transformed into Provincetown, Massachusetts. By the summer, when local shooting begins, a spokeswoman indicated that filming would be in full force.
The amount of episodes has not yet been determined like it was in the previous two seasons. Jerry Bruckheimer Television is the show’s producer.
Who will appear in the third season of Hightown?
We may expect to see a lot of fan-favorite characters in the upcoming Hightown season:
- Viewers are excited to witness Monica Raymund, who plays Jackie Quiones, unravel the mystery as well as her issues with substance abuse.
- Frankie Cuevas Sr., played by Amaury Nolasco, is a Cape Cod drug lord who has been convicted and imprisoned.
- Frankie Cuevas Sr., a stripper at Xavier’s Bar and Lounge, has a girlfriend named Renee Segna, played by Riley Voelkel.
- Junior is a friend of Jackie’s and a drug dealer played by Shane Harper (A Teacher).
- Det. Ray Abruzzo of Massachusetts State Police is played by James Badge Dale. The Cape Cod Narcotics Units have been assigned to him.
- Alan Saintille, a cop assigned to the Cape Cod Narcotics Unit, is played by Dohn Norwood.
Jackie is not without sin, despite her job in serious structures. She has struggled with many addictions throughout her life, and she now finds it impossible to stop drinking. She can’t imagine her life without booze, and she doesn’t think quitting is a good idea.
She is alone and unconcerned about her long life and good health. She comes across a dead woman on the beach one day, and it’s evident from her that she’s been using opium for quite some time. A tsunami of narcotics has swept across their community, and residents can’t seem to stop themselves from taking more than the recommended quantity.
This encounter pushed Jackie to the point where she needed to confront the source of her internal poisoning. She was also partnered with a strict and rigorous man. Showing your flaws and dependency in front of him will be unsettling.
