How to Fix an Android Phone Not Receiving Calls

Switch off the aeroplane setting

When the Android OS is put into “Airplane” mode, all cellular and internet connections are cut off. Once activated, the network indicator disappears and an aeroplane icon appears in the status bar. See if you have activated aeroplane mode and then forgotten about it. To restore network access on your Android device, simply disable the setting in question.

Shut Down Silent Mode

When the DND mode is activated, alerts, calls, and vibrations will not play or vibrate. If activated, calls will be muted, but you will still receive an incoming call notification in the status bar rather than the usual audible and visual alerts. The problem can be fixed by checking and turning off Do Not Disturb so that you can receive calls as usual.
