On September 7, Apple is rumoured to be hosting a special launch event where they would reveal their iPhone 14 series lineup. The Cupertino firm has not yet unveiled the cellphones’ first formal appearance.
A couple of weeks before their scheduled release, however, fake prototypes of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max have surfaced online. The former supposedly reveals the pill-shaped hole-punch cutout, while the latter demonstrates the purported colour choices available for the device.
Ice universe (@UniverseIce) claims to have obtained a dummy replica of the next iPhone 14 Pro. Supposedly, it has a pill-shaped cutout on the screen where the selfie camera may be accessed.
Also, the smartphone looks to have thin borders around the screen. Recent rumours have suggested that the hole punched into the top of the Pro models houses the front-facing camera, while the pill-shaped cutout on the front of the devices houses the Face ID sensor.
Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) is another source who posted a photo including mock-ups of the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
These supposed fakes are available in the same Gold, Graphite, and Silver colours as prior iPhone smartphones, as well as two additional Pro-exclusive colour combinations. The two supposedly new colours, blue and purple, look to be quite dark tones.
According to a recent source, the Sierra Blue colour option for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max may be replaced by a Purple option.
Now, if we are to trust these fake prototypes, Green has been changed with a different blue. Pre-launch, there have been numerous rumours and guesses about the new models.
Apple’s ‘Far Out’ event is scheduled on September 7. Apple is widely speculated to unveil the iPhone 14, Apple Watch Series 8, new iPad tablets, and more during this event. This event will be broadcast live from the Steve Jobs Theatre at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.
