Fans of the series were delighted by Luffy’s ascension to the Sea Emperor and his rise in reward, much as they had been for Sanji’s conflict with Big Mom.

All he needs to do now is find the secret treasure that Boa Hancock has been searching for since childhood. Is Luffy capable of overcoming a Yonko? Is he deserving of this title? Is it true that you think the company will go into bankruptcy? Or is this just tabloid gossip spread by the media?

Is Luffy a Yonko?

The moniker “Luffy” is not used by the public to refer to the Fifth Emperor of the Sea. It’s not the same as “social media marketing,” which seems similar. The title of the Fifth Emperor implies that he has a lot of clout and may one day overthrow a Yonko.

His current strength is still to be determined. Luffy may not yet be on par with them, but he’s definitely getting better.

With his resolve to slay Kaido, he may be the deciding factor in him becoming a Yonko. However, whether it happens now or at a later date, Luffy will become the Yonko and then the Pirate King.

Will Luffy ever become a Yonko?

Luffy, the captain of the Straw Hats, is already on his way to becoming a Yonko following the revelation that he is the fifth Emperor of the Sea.

He has a bounty of 1.5 billion berries on his head, and he is currently in Wano Country looking to take Kaido, one of the Four Sea Emperors, down.

Luffy may not yet be on par with the others, but he is gradually closing the gap. He might take on the mantle of a Yonko if he wins his fight against Kaido.

But, as we’ve seen, no matter when it occurs, Luffy will become a Yonko and the Pirate King.

Why is Luffy regarded the fifth?

However, the title of “fifth emperor of the sea” was given to Luffy by Pica. It is not the same, but it does have similarities. The Yonko are the four most notorious and powerful pirates in the world. Their position and number are solid and immovable.

The title “Fifth Emperor” denotes that Luffy has a lot of power and the potential to replace another Yonko in the future. At this time, his title emphasizes his potential and accomplishments rather than his present power.

What episode did Luffy become the Fifth Emperor?

In One Piece, the 878th episode was when Luffy was recognized as a Yonko for the first time. ‘The World is Stunned!,’ the episode’s name, was a reference to the recent earthquake in Mexico. The 5th Emperor of the Sea Ascends!

After the events on Whole Cake Island, Morgan, a reporter, published Luffy’s exploits to the entire globe in his newspaper and declared him an Emperor.

Is Luffy the most deserving of the title Emperor?

His reputation as a pirate, however, makes it difficult to accept him as the Fifth Emperor. He is well-known among pirates. In terms of strength, he isn’t all that powerful. But when it comes to being able to form and gather strong allies wherever he goes, he has an amazing gift.

While he may not be as powerful as the other Emperors, his power will only increase as the series continues.

Let’s take a look at all of Luffy’s progress so far.

Doflamingo, Gecko Moria, and Crocodile are three Warlords of the Sea that Luffy has defeated. He has also formed partnerships with six of them, including Trafalgar Law, Crocodile, Boa Hancock, Buggy, Jinbei, and Kuma.

Jinbe, who is also known as “The Supreme Commander” and the founder of the Whitebeard pirates. He later joined the Straw Hat Pirates as well. The Straw Hat Pirates are a crew of superhuman fighters with extremely high bounties.

His vast group of pirates, numbering in the hundreds, includes seven well-known pirate groups and more than 5,000 individuals. The Straw Hat Grand Fleet is a term used to describe the group of pirates that includes Luffy, Sanji, Nami, Zoro, Chopper, Robin, Usopp and Brook.

Luffy is the only one to have attacked all three of the World Government’s major facilities. He attacked Enies Lobby with a large-scale assault, which resulted in its destruction.

This is the only occasion in the prison’s history when a mass escape has been attempted, and it was accomplished by Luffy and his allies at Impel Down.

He also took part in the Paramount War, which was intended to rescue his brother, Ace. In this war, he fought three admirals and sea warlords, including Mihawk the World’s Greatest Swordsman.

[[He even infiltrated Big Mom’s territory, Totto Land, where he defeated Sweet Commanders Charlotte Cracker and Charlotte Katakuri.]]

He tried to kill Charlotte Linlin and, when he failed, formed an immediate alliance with Germa 66, the Sun Pirates, and the Fire Tank Pirates in order to flee successfully.

Apart from these tangible accomplishments, Luffy’s name is fearsome. He is known as “D” and is the son of notorious international criminal Monkey D. Dragon.

He is Garp’s great-great-grandson, and the grandson of Monkey D. Garp, who was the greatest Marine hero of all time.

He is also a sworn brother to the late commander of the second division of the Whitebeard Pirates, Portgas D. Ace, and the Revolutionary Army Chief-of-staff, Sabo, both of whom are sons of Gol D. Roger.

Although the press somewhat exaggerated his talents, he was sufficiently accomplished to be unofficially dubbed the “Fifth Emperor of the Sea.”

Is he one of the Yonko’s, comparable to Sanji or Zoro?

Even though Luffy has been labeled the Fifth Emperor, he is not on the same level as the other Yonko. The other Emperors have ruled over the seas for years and built their strength and influence gradually and steadily, with the exception of Blackbeard.

Luffy’s power has grown throughout his competitions and adventures, but he is still several fights away from confronting a Yonko head-on.

He understands it, too, because he does not fight Kaido alone, but rather collaborates with other strong allies to defeat him.

However, sooner or later, he will reach that level. At the end of Wano, it’s possible that Luffy will be powerful enough to face one.

What did the other Yunkos say about this?

Luffy’s latest exploits resulted in him having a huge bounty and being dubbed the Fifth Emperor of the Sea.

When Luffy’s fifth Yonko status was announced, the other Yonko had a distinct impression.

Kaido, the king of beasts, became enraged; Big Mom was infuriated after seeing that the article made it appear as though Luffy had won against her right-hand-man, and Blackbeard regarded it as early for Luffy to be a Yonko.

However, when Shanks saw the newspaper, he said that he would be seeing Luffy anyhow.
