Narrow bezels are anticipated for the Xiaomi 13 series. The tipper said that the series might have a 2K resolution hole-punched LTPO display. Additionally, eye protection dimming technology can be included in the handsets.
The Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro were previously mentioned as part of the rumoured Xiaomi series. According to reports, both phones will be on sale in November.
According to a different rumour, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC known as the SM8550 processor may power the Xiaomi 13 series.
The flat and curved displays of the Xiaomi 13 series smartphones may have relatively slim bezels, according to tipper Digital Chat Station, who posted via the Chinese microblogging site Weibo.
The informant went on to speculate that this could be because the two smartphones make use of a novel “packing technique” (translated). The statement omitted to specify which smartphone will have a flat-screen and which will have a curved display.
It is also rumoured that smartphones would include a cutout in the centre of the screen for the selfie camera.
The handset would, according to the tip, include a 2K resolution LTPO display with eye protection dimming technology. The newly discovered information on the 2K resolution display is consistent with an earlier report.
Another source suggests that the SM8550 chipset, which is thought to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, will power the Xiaomi 13 series.
The device may debut with a BYD ceramic back shell, according to the report. The Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro are expected to go on sale this November and are said to run Android 13.
According to a recent claim, the Xiaomi 13 may include a self-developed IC that will enable the device to provide 100W wired fast charging capability with a single cell battery.
For purportedly more effective power management, the smartphone will also reportedly receive an improved Surge P1 chip.
