A new week has begun, and a new month has begun, which means Netflix has introduced a slew of new movies and series. Some may not all be spanking new, but they may be fresh to you or oldies you’d like to revisit.
This week’s releases include a new season of a Netflix game show, a slew of films from a big franchise, and one of the most well-known films of all time.
This week, Netflix released Floor is Lava and Titanic.
Floor is Lava
Season 2 of Floor is Lava is one of the few Netflix Original series arriving on the streaming service this week. The show follows participants as they navigate an obstacle course while avoiding touching the floor, which is covered with lava-like water.
They will perish if they fall into the “lava.” It’s surprisingly entertaining for a game that we all used to play as kids.
The new season will premiere on Netflix on June 3, 2022.
Mission: Impossible (Mission: Impossible)
With the release of the latest Mission Impossible trailer, you might want to catch up on the prior films. Thankfully, Netflix is releasing the first, second, and fourth films in the series. On Wednesday, June 1, 2022, Mission Impossible, Mission Impossible III, and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol will all be accessible to stream.

Titanic
Titanic will also be available on Netflix this week, on June 1st. The James Cameron-directed picture depicting the tragedy of the Titanic sinking used to be the highest-grossing film of all time, but Avatar and Avengers: Endgame have pushed it to third place.
If you haven’t seen the movie since it came out in 1997, it stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as Jack and Kate, two people from very different backgrounds who fall in love. Their love is tragically cut short when the ship collides with an iceberg and sinks into the Atlantic Ocean.
While the first film is enjoyable, Titanic II should be avoided at all costs. It will only let you down.
