Never Have I Ever: Season 3: What to Expect
The Love Square
Even Devi (Ramakrishnan) was taken aback when she had Ben and Paxton on each side of her as she tried to select which of the two males she preferred. she aspired to have him as a boyfriend. The school’s winter dance provided Devi with the perfect opportunity to revive her romance with Paxton after she had broken up with both of her previous love interests.
The fact that Devi and Paxton are getting back together doesn’t seem to bother Ben, despite the fact that he’s developing feelings for Aneesa. Because Devi initially wanted him to be her guy friend, Eleanor made sure Ben knew he could still be Devi’s boyfriend if he so desired.
Ben is now faced with a decision: does he follow Devi and destroy his new relationship with Aneesa, or does he attempt to make things work with Aneesa despite his heart’s desire for someone else?
Devi x Paxton
When it comes to a long-term, committed relationship between Devi and Paxton, there’s still a lot of work to be done.
This dynamic will be further explored in the next season, particularly in light of the difficulties they will each confront.
Devi and Paxton’s future may have previously been hinted at by Mindy Kaling in an interview with EW.
Romantic comedies aren’t intriguing to me unless they’re continuously altering and changing. Having the main character be content in their relationship bores the heck out of me. When we’re in the dark, the tension builds.
As a result of Kaling’s words, Devi and Paxton’s relationship is likely to face many more difficulties in the future.
It’s safe to say that Mindy Kaling has given us plenty of indications about what to anticipate in Season 3.
For her part, Kaling told Stylecaster: “I don’t think it’s fantastic since each of these alternatives are very amazing in their own way, but it’s been really enjoyable watching how passionate people are for one or the other side. I don’t have an ending in mind.
It takes me back to my adolescent years, when I used to get so caught up in the imaginary relationships I read about in romance novels. That truly cheers me up.”
She remarked, “I hope we can do more seasons because I really like working with the actors and I really enjoy writing in this environment.”
