When the calendar turns to July, it’s officially Daylight Saving Time, which means a slew of new Netflix movies and programmes are on the way to help you get through the summer.
While Stranger Things Season 4 Vol. 1 premiered on May 27th, and The Umbrella Academy Season 3 premiered on June 22nd, Netflix unofficially kicked off summer with the debut of Stranger Things Season 4 Vol. 1 on May 27th. But there’s a lot more on our radar for July 2022.
As the summer heats up on Netflix, viewers can expect a slew of new movies and episodes, including the highly anticipated premieres of The Gray Man and Conviction, as well as the rest of Stranger Things Season 4 and the new season of Virgin River.

- The Dragon Knight is a sequel to Kung Fu Panda (Season 1) N – In this new Kung Fu Panda series from DreamWorks Animation, Jack Black returns as a voice actor.
- Uncle from Another World (Season 1) N – New anime series about a man who wakes up with magical abilities after a coma.
- Shania Twain: Not Just A Girl (2022) is a documentary about the musician Shania Twain.

- Vera Atkins, a spy recruiter for Churchill’s secret army, is the subject of Lydia Dean Pilcher’s biopic A Call to Spy (2020).
- Contraband is a film released in 2012. In this action criminal movie starring Mark Wahlberg, a former smuggler travels to Panama in search of a huge payday.
- Final Score (2018) stars Dave Bautista and Pierce Brosnan in an action film about what happens when a football stadium is taken over by criminals.
- Vampires (1998), a horror movie starring James Wood and Daniel Baldwin, was directed by John Carpenter. The story revolves around a vampire slayer.
- Natural Born Killers (1994) — A comedy film starring Woody Harrelson about a family of killers who go on a murdering rampage.
- Todd Phillips’ comedy Old School (2003) stars Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, and Luke Wilson as three men in their thirties who want to recapture their college glory days.
- Stranger Things (Volume 2 of Season 4) N – The final two episodes of Stranger Things’ fourth season, in which Eleven goes toe-to-toe with Vecna.
- Wild Card (2015) — Jason Statham’s action film about a freelance strong guy with a gambling problem who accidentally enrages a merciless mafia leader.

- Blair Witch (2016) is a Lionsgate horror film that is a remake of the 1999 film Blair Witch. A group of pals go to a woodland thought to be haunted by the Blair Witch.
