Pete Lau, the co-founder of OnePlus, recently updated his Twitter account with images of a hinge to provide indications about the advancements of a foldable smartphone while keeping the name and specifics a secret.

Samsung, a South Korean smartphone manufacturer, recently debuted its foldable phones. Xiaomi also released the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. The Moto Razr 2022 has also been unveiled by Motorola in China.

Additionally, Oppo, OnePlus’ sister company, announced its Find N foldable at the end of the previous year, establishing Oppo as a player in the market for foldable smartphones.

Samsung claims that the robust aluminum frame and hinge cover on this smartphone provides structural durability.

Both the front and back of it are protected by dual Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. This device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC inside, along with 12GB of RAM.

In terms of optics, this Samsung smartphone includes five cameras: one on the cover display, one beneath the main screen, and the other three on the back.
