Phil Schiller An Apple Executive Deletes His Twitter Account!

Phil Schiller, who is an Apple Fellow and is in charge of the App Store and Apple Events, has turned off his Twitter account as of Sunday for reasons that are not clear. The account, which had about 265,800 followers and followed just over 240 accounts, now says “doesn’t exist.”

Phill Schiller has been on the platform since 2008, and he used to use the account to promote Apple products and services as part of his job as SVP of Worldwide Marketing.

The Apple executive’s departure from Twitter comes after CEO Elon Musk said that former President Trump’s account would be brought back online after it was suspended in January 2021.

In a recent interview, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook, who is still active on Twitter, talked about the current state of Twitter and how it relates to Apple. “They say they will keep policing, and I believe them because I don’t think anyone really wants hate speech on their platform.”
