It’s not easy for a car company to take the lead, get out of the chaos, and try new things. It’s hard to put into words how much risk this choice has. In the same way and after doing a lot of studies, MG Motor decided to go one step further and bring something new to the Indian market: a small, four-seater electric car.

They definitely looked at what travelers need today and then put out the brand-new Comet EV in India.

First of all, the MG Comet EV is a two-door, four-seater electric car made for traveling within cities, as the brand has said in several press presentations. It was made with Gen Z, which is what we call today’s young customers, and their style in mind.

When it first goes on sale, the MG Comet EV will cost Rs 7.98 lakhs (ex-showroom). MG says that the car has a good range of 230 km on a single charge.

We recently had the chance to drive an MG Comet EV around the streets of Delhi. We drove a small electric vehicle that was Candy White, and we loved the way people in Delhi reacted to it.
