Shadow and Bone season 2 Plot:

The second season of Bardugo’s Grisha trilogy, which established her shared universe, is likely to adopt the second novel in the series. Fortress Siege and Storm have cast Alina Starkov, the light-wielding Sun Summoner, adrift on a True Sea with only her childhood love Mal and the crew of a renowned pirate to guide her. Shadow and Bone, as well as the Crow Club, characters from Bardugo’s Six of Crows duology whose storey takes place after the trilogy’s conclusion, are likely to be featured more prominently in the second season.

Season 1 ended with a run-in with the Darkling General Kirigan and the crew of the Ravkan ship, including Alina, Mal, and the three Crows (Kaz Brekker, Inej, and Jesper). While Alina and Mal are no longer part of the Crows, we wouldn’t be surprised if they crossed paths in the future (though given how this show has surprised us so far, we wouldn’t be surprised).

Grisha Heartrender Nina Zenik and Matthias Helvar, who each have their own problem, must also be dealt with by the Crows. A betrayal is what Matthias interprets as the final episode of season one of The Hunger Games when Nina hands Matthias over for trial as a slaver rather than shield him from other Grishas. In the final moments of the episode, it appears that Kirigan has not only survived the animals of the Shadow Fold but that he has also gained control of them.
