Vikings: Valhalla season 2 cast – Who will appear?

Vikings: Valhalla season 2 cast members are expected to return for the third and final season. As Leif, Harald, Freydis, Laura Berlin, David Oakes, and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, they are all played by Sam Corlett and Leo Suter, respectively (Olaf).

Sren Pilmark (Forkbeard), Bradley Freegard (Canute), and Pollyanna McIntosh (lfgifu) are all almost certainly returning, given their importance in the first season.

Caroline Henderson is one of those who is unlikely to return in season two (Haakon). During the eighth and final episode of the first season, the Jarl of Kattegat met her demise. Actor Asbjrn Krogh Nissen from Kre has the same deal. It was during a climactic duel between Freydis and Louis Davison’s King Edmund in Kattegat that Kre was decapitated.

Jeb Stuart says the second season will put a “whole different spotlight” on Olaf and that we can expect his son, Magnus, to appear in later seasons. Our conversation with Stuart also included the mention of Erik the Red, a legendary Viking warrior and father of Leif and Freydis, as well.

As for Godwin, Stuart has described him as “a character for the long haul,” which suggests he’ll be around for a while. London will be in for a rude awakening.
