What is Google I/O?

Google I/O is an event that Google holds every year for workers and fans to talk about new software and hardware. Since 2008, Google has held the event in Mountain View, California, US. Also: Google Sheets gets new smart chips: How to use smart chips and what they are

When is it and How to Watch The Livestream? (Schedule)

Google keeps the event at its offices and only lets a small number of people attend. But there are no tickets for the event, so if that’s what you were thinking, you can’t get in.

Google instead shows the event live on the company’s website and YouTube account. This year, Google I/O 2023 will start on May 10 at 10 a.m. PT (11:30 p.m. IST).

What to Expect at Google I/O 2023?

At Google I/O 2023, a lot of big news is likely to be shared. Here are the statements that are likely to happen.

Google AI (Bard)

Google showed researchers Android 14 earlier this year. The Developer test stage is where the new operating system is now, and Google I/O is where it will be launched for real. At the event, the company will show off all of its features and give test users the OS.

Google AI (Bard)

After OpenAI’s ChatGPT did well, Google shocked everyone by announcing Google Bard, its own AI chatbot. Now, Google may share more information about the Bard robot at Google I/O 2023.

Google Pixel 7a

Google is also reported to release the Pixel 7a along with two big software updates. People say that the Google Pixel 7a will have a screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and better photos. It will probably have a Tensor G2 engine and will be sold at a reasonable price.

Google Pixel Fold

Google may finally show off the Pixel Fold phone, which has been talked about for a long time. The folding phone that is said to compete with the Galaxy Z Fold may have a main screen that is 7.6 inches. It might also have a 5.8-inch screen on the top.

It is likely to have three cameras and some new software tools. A hands-on film of the phone got out not long ago (see the video above). Google hasn’t yet confirmed that the video is real, so it’s still not clear if it’s real or not. Well, that’s it.

Google might also talk about some changes to its voice assistant and other apps.
