Shauna approaches Adam at the start of episode 9, “Doomcoming,” where she eventually kills him. She subsequently learns that Jeff is the true blackmailer, though.

He did it because he borrowed money from loan sharks to pay his furniture store’s debts. Adam is the blackmailer, and the two of them decide to tell the other women while keeping a secret from Shauna. Nat reluctantly asks Misty for assistance in disposing of the body after witnessing it.

The group throws a party during a full moon in 1996. They refer to the party as the doom coming because they think they will starve to death. The soup contains some of Misty’s mushrooms, which causes practically everyone to go drunk.

Van and Taissa enter the room ahead of the others. Coach Scott reveals to Misty that he is gay, while Jackie and Travis lose their virginity to one another. Lottie, Shauna, and other girls attempt to kill Travis and bleed him dry while under the effect of the mushrooms, thinking that Travis is a stag. Nat, however, intervenes in time and spares his life.

When will the first season of Yellowjackets end?

On January 16, 2022, at 10 p.m. ET on Showtime, “Yellowjackets” episode 10 debuted. Therefore, there won’t be any more season 1 episode. Do not be alarmed; the story is not over yet.

Since Showtime has already renewed the series, we definitely want plenty of mystery left for season 2, even though we hope the season 1 finale ultimately clarifies some issues (especially what happened in the woods).

Cast List for Yellowjackets Season 2

Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Juliette Lewis, and Christina Ricci will all make a comeback to the program. Since Lynskey took home the Best Lead Actress prize at the Critics’ Choice Awards, she has much to be happy about. We can also anticipate Courtney Eaton’s return because it was revealed in the finale that Adult Lottie was causing havoc elsewhere.

In a video interview with Variety in June 2022, the showrunners acknowledged that they had been working on Yellowjackets Season 2 for some time and that formal filming would start in late August.

You shouldn’t be concerned that this implies we won’t get to witness more of what’s going on with the winter timeline’s past. In a subsequent Variety interview, the showrunners emphasized that they were preparing to deploy some “movie magic” to make the chilly, snowy weather conceivable during their July production.

We’re crossing our fingers that the show’s return to production this summer will result in more episodes airing in late 2022 and early 2023, similar to how Season 1 did.

Showtime Networks President of Entertainment Gary Levine previously stated in an interview with Vulture that the network was looking for a premiere date “around the end of 2022,” so it seems clear that this is what the show and Showtime are shooting for. Additionally, that would make for a very spooky winter watch!
