NBC has just three more episodes of Chicago Fire Season 10 to air before the extended summer vacation starts.
The good news is that the current season of the program has a lot of exciting storylines and fascinating guest stars to look forward to.
For One Chicago, the season finales are usually excellent, and the show does an excellent job of generating anticipation for them. Last spring, four firemen from Firehouse 51 were left stranded underwater when their vehicle was swept away by a raging river.
NBC has teased Chicago Fire fans by releasing the description for each of the next two episodes, as well as a few images, as a preview of what’s to come. If you look at the graphic above, for example, you’ll see a rescue that will happen on May 18.
The revelation that a former Chicago Fire cast member will return for the show’s grand finale is also part of this.
Sylvie Brett’s comeback to Chicago Fire is also on the upswing, according to our sources.
Ratings for Season Nine
Chicago PD’s ninth season had an 18-49 rating of 0.73 and a viewership of 5.86 million people. Season nine’s demo and live+same day ratings are down 15% and 4%, respectively, from season eight (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM).
Despite the fact that these figures do not include delayed or on-demand watching, they are an excellent gauge of a show’s popularity, particularly when compared to others on the same channel.
Other economic reasons may come into play when determining the destiny of a program, but in general, the better-rated shows get renewed while the less popular ones are canceled. Take a look at how well Chicago PD compares to other NBC series.

Will this season of Chicago PD be the last one?
Nothing, as we had expected. The Chicago Police Department will not abandon us. Executive producers and showrunners aren’t thinking about ending the season right now since the series has a good rating and is attracting a lot of attention.
We’ve seen that the deadline has announced that Chicago PD will return for the season 10 premiere. As a result, it seems like a new series will be airing shortly.
However, there is some bad news in that season 9 has received a poor rating in comparison to season 8.
Rick Eid, the show’s executive producer, has acknowledged that the people and the hard work are going to change, and they’re also working on a notion about what it would be like to be a police officer in 2021 and the case of Voight.
So we’re quite confident we’ll be tuning in for more episodes of Chicago PD in the near future.
