Oppo unveiled the Find N2 Flip, upping the standard and demonstrating to the world what a foldable flip smartphone in 2023 should have.

In December, Oppo introduced their most recent smartphone, the Find N2. The handset was amazing, offering a reasonably tiny design and a tremendous amount of power at an affordable price. The business also hinted that a flip foldable was in development and will be offered at a later date. Now, Oppo has officially unveiled the Find N2 Flip to the public, showcasing its sleek compact design with a unique wide outer display and a massive internal battery.

While foldable flip smartphones have been seen before, Oppo’s unique version features a huge 3.26-inch front display that takes centre stage and covers a significant portion of the outside design. You also receive a screen that makes it easier to view and interpret incoming notifications, in addition to its large size. Oppo has also made an intriguing move in regards to the screen’s orientation by putting it vertically, enabling for more alerts to be displayed simultaneously. Oppo’s chassis is comprised of a combination of aluminium and glass, with a micro-etched wave design across the hinge to provide a touch of style.

In addition, the handset is available in two colour options: Astral Black and Moonlit Purple. Expanded, the device measures just 7.45mm in thickness and features a 6.8-inch E6 AMOLED display with a 21:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The screen has a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits, allowing users to readily view it under direct sunlight or in bright surroundings.

While the style may be one of the first things you notice, its strong camera is what will keep you going back for more, with a 50MP sensor and f/1.8 aperture on the primary camera. With co-development by Hasselblad, the camera should provide photographs and films with exceptional colour. Clearly, Oppo will utilise its wide outside screen to provide users with clear previews when capturing images and movies.

The bespoke hinge located inside the phone will also enable users to take advantage of the phone’s design, which is effective for keeping the handset stable at a variety of angles. Additionally, the phone may be propped up for shooting selfies or receiving video calls. The New Generation Flexion Hinge by Oppo will not only provide greater flexibility when using the phone, but it will also aid in reducing the visual crease in the display, which is a tremendous advantage. Oppo claims that it has been tested to survive at least 400,000 folds, which should be sufficient for the vast majority of consumers.

In addition to the aforementioned features, the Find N2 Flip will be equipped with a big 4,300mAh battery. This enormous battery for a foldable flip smartphone should allow it to last a full day with ease. Best of all, the device will enable 44W SuperVOOC charging, letting you to charge 100 percent in under an hour. Oppo will use a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. We will fill in these facts as soon as we obtain them.

The Find N2 Flip will cost £849 in the United Kingdom, with preorders beginning today. This appears to be a strong and intriguing game, with the regrettable exception that it will likely never be released in the United States.
