Bethesda has once again postponed the launch of Starfield, which will now occur in September for PC and Xbox Series X and S. In addition, there will be a Starfield Direct on June 11, immediately following the Xbox Games Showcase.

Bethesda’s Todd Howard confirmed in a new official launch date announcement trailer (below) that the highly anticipated game will be released this year.

“We have poured ourselves into this game to an extent that even I am surprised by. It is sizeable. “We are constantly playing the game,” he explained.

The June Starfield Direct will provide an in-depth look at the game, as Howard explained: “There’s so much more that we have to show you. The game has many of the characteristics you’d expect from us, but it also offers a truly unique experience.”

Phil Spencer hinted earlier this year that Microsoft and Xbox would have a presence at E3 with his perfectly timed Starfield Direct.

The game was originally scheduled to debut on November 11, 2022, but its release date was pushed back to the first half of 202, and is now confirmed for September 6.
