The availability of Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance titles on Nintendo Switch Online was confirmed in a new Nintendo Direct last week. It has never been an issue of if additional games will be added to the collection in the future; rather, the question has been when.
We have an answer, however. Stephen Totilo, a writer for Axios, stated on Twitter that he questioned Nintendo about the frequency of game additions.
I asked Nintendo if people should expect new GB/GBA games each month on Nintendo Switch Online.
Answer: "There is no set schedule for new releases, but each collection will continue to grow.”
