Twitter is in a hurry to make money, and in another move that could bring in some revenue, it has expanded the Twitter Blue subscription to six new countries. This move could bring in some revenue for Twitter. Users are now able to subscribe in a total of 12 regions thanks to the launch of the paid plans in Saudi Arabia, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.

A new Spaces tab will also be made available by the company, which will feature curated stations for podcasts in addition to live and recorded Spaces. The Space tab is already accessible to users who do not have a subscription to Twitter Blue; however, the tab primarily displays which live audio sessions are currently being played.

Additionally, Twitter is reintroducing themed stations, which will list the space station according to topics. In August, when Musk had not yet taken control of the company, testing of the feature began. However, as a result of layoffs, Spaces has had very little curation over the course of the past few months. The social networking service can now rely on algorithms to collect together real-time audio conversations that are related to one another.

Only Blue subscribers and “some people using the Twitter app for iOS and Twitter app for Android” will be able to access podcasts after the social network began making them available. In the time before Elon Musk became CEO of Twitter, podcasts were also incorporated into the platform; however, work on some of those projects has been resumed. According to Twitter’s announcement, there would initially be no way to search for podcasts. Therefore, you are required to pay attention to the recommendations made by the algorithm.

It should come as no surprise that Twitter Blue is being expanded, given that the company is working to increase revenue in any and all ways it can. A month ago, the social media company made subscriptions available to users of the Android operating system.

On Thursday, Twitter made the announcement that it would no longer provide free access to its application programming interface (API) and would begin offering a basic paid plan the following week. Elon Musk tweeted that the basic plans can cost up to $100 per month, which can be intimidating for some self-employed software developers, students, and researchers, despite the fact that the company didn’t officially announce the price tag.

The good news for Musk is that several companies, including PepsiCo and Anheuser-Busch InBev, have reportedly paid millions of dollars for Superbowl takeover ads on Twitter. This is despite the fact that the company has reported a decline in advertising revenue.

The social media platform collaborated with the advertising technology company DoubleVerify Integral Ad Science (IAS) a month ago to provide business users with information regarding the visibility of their advertisements in relation to offensive Tweets.
